Expedition National Park

Large park with magnificent sandstone scenery and deep gorges along Robinson Creek. Palm-filled valleys. No fires allowed in the park outside of the Starkvale Creek and Spotted Gum camping areas. Last supplies of food and fuel at Taroom - 125 kms away.


Park Access 4WD access only. Roads impassable after heavy rain. 93km north-west of Taroom.


Camping Camping is allowed in this park at Starkvale Creek and Spotted Gum camping areas. A permit to camp must be obtained from the self-registration station on arrival at the park.
Bush camping is also permitted in the remove sections of the park, however a camping permit must be obtained two weeks in advance from the QPWS office in Taroom (07) 4627 3358.
