Towarri National Park
Sandstone outcrops and scenic outlooks feature in a rugged landscape harbouring rainforests, snow gums and large grass tree stands.
The Washpools picnic and camping area has wheelchair access and is a great place to bring the family. There are no defined paths in the park at this stage, but steep hills and spectacular summit views offer a rewarding challenge for experienced bushwalkers.
25 km north-west of Scone via Middlebrook Road (unpaved).
